I know I haven’t posted an update on here for a long time and I apologise for that. The end of 2019 got busy with a Christmas modelling campaign. Then 2020 started super busy with potential upcoming projects and my continuing work with Equity.
Then as we all know Coronavirus spread across the world and this has meant massive changes to our lives as we know them. Also the temporary shutting down on the Arts industries.
As a result it meant that the work I do with Equity to priority for a while as did campaigning in general as I did what I could to aid my fellow artists. However, now as the UK now slowly is trying to rebuild after the peak of Coronavirus that work is far from over which is why I am proud to be part of the #WeShallNotBeRemoved movement. A collective of D/deaf Disabled and Neurodivergent artists and creators to champion the voices of this group of professionals and make sure we are not left behind as our industry rebuilds. I fully suggest you take a look at the hashtag on Twitter, as well as all other social media. At times on the 17th of June 2020 it was trending second only to Prime Ministers Questions which is a massive achievement. Join us if you’re a professional D/deaf, Disabled or Nuerodivergent creative. Support us if you wish to be come an Ally and help amplify the work.
Lets make sure that we are not removed! Also for more information please click the We Shall Not Be Removed Image.
Stay say stay healthy and I will update soon.
